Puerto Rican Traditional Cooking DVD
Recipe Video Clips
Puerto Rican
Traditional Cooking DVD was produced to give you the most common recipes
Puerto Ricans prepare on holidays. When I was a child my mother made the
pasteles first, then put them into the freezer for christmas eve. I couldn't
wait for her to put them into the boiling water so we can eat them with
the rest of the christmas meal. Along with with the pasteles we had Arroz
Con Gandules (Rice with Pigeon Peas) and Pernil (Roast Pork Shoulder)
and the Coquito (Coconut Rum Nog), of course my mother made
some without the rum for the kids, but now I can enjoy it with the rum.
My mother Mercedes is on a few segments on this DVD with me.
