Puerto Rican Cuchifrito's DVD was produced to teach how to make those favorite fried foods we enjoy so much and some not fried. Some people ask me by e-mail "Why do you you call chuchifrito's soul food?" I answer because soul food is usually referred to African American cooking. This is not true, soul food is a term used for food that is very ethnic in origin. Chichifritos does come under that category, home cooking unlike any other. In New York city or where there is a large Puerto Rican community state side you will find small chuchifrito fast food restaurants.
